About Us

Zachary and Emma Sanford share a deep passion for Jesus and a calling to serve in ministry together. Emma grew up as a pastor and missionary kid in Colorado and Yokosuka, Japan, which shaped her heart for cross-cultural ministry. She later earned degrees in Theology and Nursing and has served faithfully in hospital settings.

Zachary trained as an Electrical Engineer and pursued several years of practical experience with the goal of using his skills on the mission field. Through Bible college, his heart and worldview were expanded by God’s work around the world.

United by faith and a shared desire to serve, Zachary and Emma felt God leading them to join One Challenge and serve at Black Forest Academy. Along their journey, God blessed them with their daughter, Adelaide. As a family, they are grateful for God’s guidance and look forward with faith and expectancy to the ministry ahead.
