Impact Beyond Black Forest Academy

Hello family and friends!

In this newsletter we are excited to talk about the impact BFA offers beyond the walls of the school itself. The diagram below shows how BFA supports missions on a grand scale! Missionary families who decide to send their kids to BFA are in so many areas of ministry.

We recognize the unique challenges faced by missionary families. These include the potential for loneliness, lack of consistent fellowship, and the difficulties of providing sound education while navigating frequent transitions. The absence of consistent mentorship and discipleship opportunities, coupled with the risk of complacency in faith, are significant concerns. The very nature of their work often creates instability, making it difficult to provide a secure educational environment for their children.

BFA directly addresses these needs, with a remarkable 97% of students participating in small groups and high school students residing in supportive boarding homes. And by supporting missionary kids at Black Forest Academy, we get to support mission efforts all over the world! This is a glimpse into the larger workings of God’s Church. Every one of us has a part to play in the body of Christ supporting the Church that connect all believers.
